Marriage in itself is difficult to adjust to, let alone a remarriage where you bring with you additional “family” from your past marriage. You don’t want to, and you didn’t intend to, but it happens.Remarriage to a new spouse brings many forms of disloyalty and guilt. Do you understand your partner's true feelings about their children s or her kids-and yours-you're better prepared to navigate the terrain. Leftover emotional baggage almost always resurfaces in a blended family, and it's likely that everyone involved is carrying at least one suitcase.Are you having problems and issues with your spouse's children from another marriage or relationship? Are the issues so severe that it is threatening your marriage? How long was your spouse single before you both entered into the marriage process? How long was it just them and their children? Since you have been in the picture why does it seem that you have had nothing but trouble with your spouse's children and they don't seem to like you at all no matter what you have tried to do. What would you do if their children started fighting and picking on your children? What do you do if your spouse's children from another marriage or relationship are super rebellious? Are you neglecting or undermining your spouse in favor of your children Is your spouse your priority or are your children? After God and His Divine Servants, does your spouse come first?
